Take it easy and kick back, John . I love the recommendations / state of the nation as much as the next guy, but you’ve chocolates to eat. Hope you had a cool Yule and have a gear new year.
Please, what is normal service these days? And why should we want it resumed?
OK, seriously, Winter Solstice greetings to all. May your days be filled with ever increasing light for at least the next six months - and longer if we can bend the laws of physics. And, may all our happinesses, individual and collective, also grow.
When you or anyone else considers the first quarter of the twenty-first century may I suggest reading “Homeland” by Richard Beck. I would not promise it as happy reading. In fact, it may boil your brain - but in a good way. You know what I mean I hope. Interesting, insightful and rigorously contrarian view of what’s been going on in the name of our “security.”
Thank you for your own good wishes and wise decision not to go down the dystopian rabbit hole of contemporary events. However, the Epiphany is coming and that might be the time to open the supposed gifts of analysis. Just be sure to rip the wrapping to pieces.
Happy holidays, John! Lovely little message, that. I've restarted my podcast recently after being dormant for three years, be great to resume our chats if you're up for it
Thank you for perhaps the most agreeable end of year communication I’ve read for a long time. Have fun amigo. Sometimes it’s better to just be. Catch you next time cheers

Have a cosmic one 😎✌️I leave you with a nice slice of 60s Garage Punk from The Sonics - “Santa Claus”;
